83 Camaro details

Hi! Long-time reader, first time poster. I love third-gen F-bodies. I've worked on a white '84 Firebird and it was fun, (except for reconnecting the e-brake cable to the drum ). I hope to get one soon.

Anyway, does anyone have any pictures of stock 1983 Camaros? I'm building a model for a friend of mine and need good reference material. Thanks!

Thanks for the help! Those are nice cars!

Anyone know what paint colors were available with what interior colors? I'm leaning toward red right now.

That white Z28 looks almost EXACTLY like mine, except i have T-Tops, no hood stripes and the pin stripes above the gfx.

Lots of great info! Thanks again!

Just to make picture-finding easier, were there many changes in the body and interior between the '82 and '84 MY's?

And what color is the frame and the engine (I could use this info on the Firebirds, too.) Sorry for all the questions, but the instructions in 95% of all model kits are either off or dead wrong. Besides, how else would one learn?

I've tried the search (that helped alot, too) and spent about two-three hours going through the results.

Engine bay is body color....engine crossmember and suspension components are semi-gloss black.

'82 SBC V8 engines were Light Blue, beginning with '83 they were Black.
