Nose Removal Help
Ok, I want to replace my nose and light bar. What do I need to take off to do this?
The nose and bar should come out as one piece as long as I unbolt the light bar from the frame correct? I see about 4 or five bolts underneath the nose which look like they need to come off from under the car. How many bolts are their under the car, and where are they?
One more question the three bolts up the side. How are you supposed to get to these? They look like they would be impossible to reach, especially the top one. Are the bolts attached to the nose somehow, or do you need to get a wrench on both sides of the thing? Thanks.

have a blast my friend. the side nuts are a PITA to get to. there is a long metal bracket that has studs in it and those studs go through holes in the cover and fender. you just have to get a wrench on the nut. i used a 1/4" drive and a gear wrench for this. the bottom of the cover has a lot of bolts to come out. Just keep taking bolts off until it comes off. Dont force it off, the paint may spiderweb on you

Its comming off because its being replaced, so if i get frustrated enough I can just start pulling on it till it rips off
.
That helps a bit, now that I actually have the new one, and am looking it over I have a better idea of what i'm doing. That damn bolts going to be a pain though. I could just cut a hole to do it, but I guess that woudn't be any help in getting the thing back in. And I can mount the old on on my wall, connect the lights, and use it as a lamp, hey i don't think it would look too bad.
Thanks for the help though, and if anyone has some advice on getting to that nut it would be very much appreciated.
