The rear and front bumpers will bolt right up. But you will need to drill holes for the spoiler to attach to the bottom of the fenders, drill the holes for all the gfx. The best way to do this is to make cardboard templates. I put gfx on my 85SC with no problems. Line the cardboard up on the donor car and punch a hole in the cardboard where the hole is, then put the cardboard in the same exact part of the car and drill the hole. It took me 3 hours to drill and fit everything properly. I also had to drill the holes for my 3 piece spoiler. A high rise spoiler will look just like a 91-92 Z28 with gfx's, depending on which style of gfx you put on 82-84,85-90,91-92. Good luck and have fun doing this project.

The 82-84 side, door, rear quarter, and rear bumper are smaller than the 85-90 style, and the Z28 emblem on the back of the bumper doesnt have the bowtie on it. The 3 piece spoiler 82-86 are the same as 91-92, but those 3 piece spoilers are smaller than the 87-90 rear spoiler that had the brake light in it.
The 85-90 marked a design change to the front and rear bumper and front spoiler. The side, door, rear quarter, and rear bumper are bigger than the 82-84 and are a way different design to the 91-92's. From 85 and up the rear emblems have the bowtie on them.
The 91-92 used the same front bumper with a new lower spoiler that had a more prominent chin than the 85-90 and it also had non fuctional air ducts on the sides. The side, and door gfx also had a new design which incorporated the same non fuctional air ducts near the rear of the door which extended the vent part to the tire well. The rear bumper and gfx have are more curved design to the gfx's. And they went back to using the 82-86 3 piece spoiler which were now only used on the RS's, except for the high rise spoilers that went on the Z28's. Also the convertibles had their own spoiler that went on the back edge of the doors, then onto the top of the front of the rear quarter to the rear of it. I think the centerpiece of the spoiler for the convertibles used the 82-86 for the 91-92 verts, and I think the center spoiler with the 3rd brake light was used on the 87-90 verts.
You might wanna try a search for a post with pictures showing what I've explained.

I think you'll have to drill new holes for the 1989 ground effects to fit right. I replaced all my 1984 Z28 ground effects (before it was rearended and totaled) with all 1992 Z28 ground effects including the highrise spoiler....and I had to drill quit a few new holes for them to mount right.

ok so... could you narrow this down for me? what all can i put on my 82 that will bolt on or be modified to work... b/c i really like the lower chins on the later models, and the non-functional air ducts.
