New Hood design.

If you havn't heard, i'm trying to make a wider version of the daytona hood

To give you guys an idea of what i'm trying to accomplish, i did a photoshop job on 85maroZ28's car.

So far, i made a rough version out of a spare hood (very rough, ie tin snips, bent with a sledge and a 2x4) and it looked very good.
No pics though my dad hauled it off to the dump before i could get any pics. I'm now working on templates to make a fiberglass version.

I too would like to see the originals. That is a really good shop job. I cant remember what the original hood looks like.

Dang, I have never really been a big fan of that hood. But the new pics makes it look WAY better.
