I crashed my 84 Z28 twice. The first time some garder hit my quarter panel when I was making a U turn and I had to have a new one welded on. The second time I was doing over 100 and took a turn to fast niked the curb and it totally mest up the front end suspension. The strut started to come out of the housing and the frame was kinked up. It is in my back yard as we speak. Now I have a bad *** 92 RS and I treat her with the utmost care!!!!!!!!

Does horse damage count?

I had my 84 Z-28 stored behind a buddys barn. Well I guess the horses didn't like it too much, because when I went to check it out after a while they had kicked it.
They kicked in the passenger door, the passenger fender, broke off part of the passenger ground effect by the door, and broke the spoiler part on the passenger side.
So she is going in for a complete body job soon. She has been sitting for 6 years now, so body work is a must anyway, so the horse damage doesn't seem that bad anymore.

*sniffle* yeah... trashed my second camaro.. this was my black 92. It was totalled. insurance company got it, I wasn't in a finacial position to retain it myself at that time.

I'm on my 3rd camaro now. My first one was a 78 and it got stolen back in the 80's right after I payed it off and the theft insurance ran out. It was a total loss.. I had a hard time dealing with that for a long time.

don't have any pics of my 91 yet but if it ever quits freakin raining I'll take some

You know what they say.. third time is a charm.. I'm gonna make this one freakin sweet if its the last thing I do!!!

Yup, both my RS and IROC. In the RS, I just plain wasn't paying attention and hit a car at like 10 MPH while slowing for a red light. In the IROC, the car two cars ahead of me made a quick decision to turn, so the car in front braked, so did I but slid right into her car (it was raining). No insurance or anything involved, but the worst part was I was delivering a pizza and they tipped me like 70 cents The damage is worse in person.. the whole nose is spiderwebbed

When I bought my car, one of the questions was had it been in an accident... Sure enough, it was hit in the driver's side front fender. The repairs were done pretty good but could have been a bit better imo. Only thing you could notice is a bit of body filler where there shouldn't have been. Since I've had it, the only thing I've done is pull too far forward in a parking spot into one of those support wires for a telephone poll Haven't bothered painting it again until later this year.

Yeah, the guy was thrown through the ttop...no seat belt on...and the car ended up rolling over him....not crushing him cause he was in a ditch area. He said he was covered in gas too. My bro and I just looked at him with wide eyes. We saw the car and were like..."who died in this thing?"

I rear ended an SNET van when he decided to stop at a yellow light when I was going to run it. Just chipped the paint on the front bumper, that's all.

Then my brother decided driving on the road was too boring, and thought someones 8 foot wide bush would be more fun. He cracked the front bumper, scratches all over the hood and roof and down the sides. The fun part was untangling all the branches that wrapped around the driveshaft.

I feel so sorry for some of the cars i see here (not to mention the drivers)

My car hasn't been in an accident, but was stolen from the previous owner 3 times... thats why he wanted to sell it.

Fortunately my 91TA has not seen any accidents...........The impact of an accident is bad enough let alone the force of the air bag deploying!YIKES
I damn near wrote off my 83 Camaro though........Doin about 80km's on a gravel road, hit a rut, could'nt correct and met up with a barbed wire fence.Came about 5 ft away from a power pole.I was very lucky that I missed it!!!!!!!Totally destroyed the paint, the windshield and rear window got etched with the rusty barbed wire too.It looked like Freddy Krugar run his hand from one end to the other.

Heres a pic of my damage and this was after I pulled out the damage, I guess the old owner just put some filler on and left it at that. One day when I have another camaro I will give my baby another makeover and a new rear quarter panel and driver door.
The door damage was just as bad, lol the sad thing is my car has been like this since she was a new born camaro

I've crashed my 90 RS about 7 times at the tracks. But I'm happy I did because each crash taught me a lesson about drifting. Nothing was ever very serious, always cosmetic. I've seen Hondas hit the same spots and get messed up pretty bad. But the Camaro laughed and kept going. Gave me a reason to swap on those 91-92 GFX anyway.

Some punk kid in a new Honda pulled out in front of me back in October trying to cross three lanes of traffic to get to the Texaco to get himself a drink before class that morning and cost me my OEM Formula nose and passenger side fender. Luckily the hood and lights escaped damage. I now have a new OEM nose and a repro fender that isn't quite right. I'm still looking for an OEM fender. If the kid would have been a second quicker I'd have missed him-a second later and I could have killed the kid in the back seat. All that for a damn Coke!

Ugh, I think I would get sick. I consider myself an excellent driver. I haven't had even a close call that would have been MY fault in about 7 years. It's the other people I'm worried about. Lots of people out there driving around with their heads up their a$$. Last year, my mom and stepdad were sitting in an intersection in their Lexus and got rear ended by some punk 16 year old who was supposed to be in school. He didn't have any insurance of course, and then jumped out of his car and started screaming at my mom and stepdad and calling my mom a b*tch etc. I don't know why my stepdad didn't break him in half. If the same thing had happened to me where some idiot with no insurance hit my GTA, then didn't have insurance, then started calling my wife and myself names and blaming us, I would wind up in jail for beating a kid to a bloody pulp. I live in Oklahoma and read the other day that 60% of Oklahoman's are driving with NO insurance at all. I'm tellin ya, Oklahoma drivers are the dumbest drivers in the country. Matt

I know what you mean. I've been driving for 17 years and never had an accident until then. As for Oklahoma drivers I agree 100%. I spent 2 years in Tulsa and the only thing worse than an idiot OK driver is an idiot OK driver in the rain. When the clouds open up the IQ drops by 80%.

LOL, I hear ya. When I lived in Altus people always got in some kind of wreck at least once a month. The only one I ever saw was when a guy was in the middle lane where you can stop and turn without upseting traffic, Well this idiot in a pickup stoped in his lane and motioned the guy to turn Well he stoped like 20 cars behind him to do this and the guy in the middle lane starts to turn when a car in the lane next to the guy in the pickup gets hit buy the guy turning TBONED him. LOL it was the stupidest thing I have ever seen, there was very little damage to both cars but who is really that dumb to stop in moving 2 lane traffic to let someone turn from the middle lane???

hmmm let me count the times-lol-first my brother had the camaro & it was in a chain reaction...insurance company wanted to trash it but we got it fixed,i had just got it all nice & clean & waxed & everything & was parked at the fire dept one night & a bingo player backed into the drivers side front panel-i of course was in selling tickets & when i found out i went off on the guy & then i broke down & cried, the third time i was parallel parked at a friends house & his dad went to pull out & side swiped the rear panel clear up to the door.i was beginning to wonder if this would ever quite!!!!!!

Well, i guess I'm the lucky one. I've been driving for almost 4 years now, most of that is my car. I have no wrecks or tickets for any vehicle. The only thing that comes close, is when I was in high school, I came out to my car one day after school, and some moron had backed into my fender, which left a little dent and a paint chip on it. I still have no idea who did it, but i'd rather it be a fender than a quarter panel. Much easier to replace a fender :P

First winter I owned my beloved '84 Camaro... Accident of January 5th, 1999....

Look at my sig and you can see what it has become....

Unfortunately, the engine now has a bad bearing.... The car sits until I have money to do a full body and engine restore....
