What a Mess!

This is what happens when I let my older brother use my car while I was away for training. He shorted something out and tried to fix it him self. He thought that if he took the dash apart he could get a better look. Now I have to go over Seas and can't fix it till I get back. Maybe I can fix it next winter.

Nick

Sounds like a case of somebody not having a clue, but a big heart. After years of fixing problems like those, I'd rather cuss and slap 'em as opposed to dealing with that cluster f... of a mess. You better hope to *** he does'nt try to fix anymore of his screw up's while your gone-the whole car might look like a Chiltons manual demonstration car that never got reassembled.

If you do not mind me asking are you in the service? If that was the case and I lived closer I would be willing to put it back together for you. I would like to help out those who protect us.
If you are headed over there for that reason take care.

Yes, in the service. Thank you for the offer. There is so much IM going to do to it and a lot of money having to be put in to it. And now I find out my parents are moving this summer. They are moving out of state so my car goes with them to sit in there garage. As for my older brother...( who just bought a Cobra, I tried to stop him) Not getting a key to the new garage is his punishment for not know what he is doing. Don't you just hate people that think they know it all but realy no nothing?

I hope all my parts are still there when I get back!

Good lord. If somebody did that to MY car, they'd be in deep ****! My wife isn't allowed to drive my GTA while I'm overseas. She seems to like to drive on the curb a lot. She's got three other cars to drive though. Where are you stationed and what service are you in? I've been in the Air Force a little over five years. I used to be stationed at McGuire AFB in central NJ. I really liked it there. Where are you? Matt

I didn't realy get to see what he was talking about with me getting ready to leave and all. But my dad is a hell of a mechanic and told me when I get back all I will have to do is get it painted and get the rims (Torq-Thrust II) and tires. I have almost everything to get the new 350 going. Soon IM going to have bigger things to worry about

I hope I have access to a computer so i can keep you guys/girls updated.
