Leave some dryer sheets in there. I store my car with bounce dryer sheets in there (rodents apparently hate the smeel of bounce) and when the car comes out of storage that is all you can smell. It is kinda overpowering at first but it fades and smells better than the barfy smell of RTV.

Do not do moth *****. My mother had the bright idea of putting moth ***** in my room while I was away at school (about 200 km away) Its been almost a year and the smell is still there.
Just don't do it, its so rotten to smell moth ***** daily.

Try Febreze for Autos (doesn't smell all sickly sweet like regular Febreze). Get everything that's fabric damp with the stuff and let it sit in the sun for a warm afternoon (do warm afternoons exist where you are?!). Then hit it with some New Car Scent spray. The car will smell wonderful once the initial heavy scent wears out.

ill try the febreeze and then hit it up with some bounce, hopefully it wont smell too pretty lol
thanks
mine just came back from the body shop and it smells like banannas , maybe its the paint procedures that do it but i like the smell. to get rid of smell you can either use a can of coffee beans but the car will smell like coffee or what i do is use baking soda in a cereal bowl . just leave it there when you store it for winter. i leave mine in for winter storage and it has no funky smells afterwards.

I tried the FeBreze for Autos and it smelled like Elmers Glue. I'm going to throw that stuff away.
Simple... Take the t-tops off if you have them, roll the windows down, get on the highway and do 100.... yeah for air circulation! You can always do the ol shove some air fresheners down the AC vent trick too,

When i got my iroc, it smelled like hazelnut something or other from the chick who owned it before me. (must've been a fan of it or something). It reeked for 5 months. Now it smells like paint, primer, and dust, and generally looks like krap too. maybe i should've covered the interior up when i took the car apart and sanded it down to bare metal.....
It was basically mint when i got it:

corsica smells like ciggarette smoke and new car scent treefresheners. Every time i turn the heat on i swear i smell pot for a second, maybe the previous owner got alot of fumes built up in the heater vents or something.

my car smells like the perfume the lady before i got it wore, it first it smells good..after a few mins u wanna roll the windows down...then my mom gets in and all the bad smell goes away and a new worse smell of cigarette smoke arrives..basicly my car smells not good..lol anyone know of the "new car scent" that actually smells like a new car scent..i know the little tree doesnt smell no where close to it
Gasoline, exhaust fumes, and cigarettes (doesn't bother me none because I'm the one who made it smell that way) it has another distinctive smell I can't put my finger on, but I've smelled it other places too, but I have no idea what it is.
