I get the same thing all the time. I quess cops dont like how it looks like we have our seat belts on because of our belt guide on the seat. From behind and you dont have your belt on it still looks like its on. So since they know about that they like to mess with most of the fbody owners around my area. I know a good way to fight this is have a video camera pointed at you with your belt on and when you get pulled over and accused of not having it on, you'll have proof that you really do.

i dunno if its illegal cuz technically u have it "on". i was flippin through a drivers ed book from a friend a few days ago and it said something about how the seatbelt should be snug against your chest. i don't remeber if it had to be, but it said snug and not too tight (obviously). i dunno maybe just another dumb law and a reason for the cop to not admit he was wrong

Next time, just run from the cops. They LOVE it when you do that! I mean, you might as well make it worth their while to catch you! Matt

I did that once. I got away but someone saw what was going on and got my plate number. About a half hour later about 5 cop cars are at my house. I got arrested and lost my lisence for thirty days.

Heh, at least you dont live in NH. Ive gotten 3 tickets... first 1 was 32 over in a 35 (going 67) second 1 wasnt clocked thank ***, and third was 20 over passing 2 cars on the way to school on the day of finals. The first ticket was 115.80 and loss of license for 20 days, the second was 57.60 and loss of license for 45 days and the third was 72.00 and loss of license for 90 days... 155 total... based on my points i could lose it for additional 90 days...
its pretty g a y. Hopefully i can skip the 2 ninety days and tell them i learned my lesson and get it back on 4/2

Guys, guys, guys,

Dont you know that it is not good to run from the law? You can NOT out run the radio, or that bird in the sky. I should know, I am one of the ones doing the chasing!! What a rush!!!

Well, down to business. You guys know what is coming. I like to enjoy a good story now and then, too. I am afraid that I must close this thread, due to no tech content. Had you asked what could have been done to fix the seatbelt, then it would have lived. Once again, sorry.
