Grant wheel installed

That was way to easy. Maybe half an hour start to finish. The pics aren't the greatest(very poor lighting, used the flash)

Yep, leather 'like' material. Way nicer than the stock wheel. FYI, the interior needs cleaned really bad. Sitting too long in the garage.

I like it. Looks like it was made for the car. Where did you get it and how much was it?

Yep, the look is just right. It's just a grant 773 signature series formula GT. I picked it up new on e-bay for 40 bucks. Another 15 for the install kit at the local parts store. The cheapest I've seen the wheel is around 75 bucks from summitracing.com. I was 'inspired' by a picture I saw with this wheel on a firebird--someone on thirdgen.org. Found the picture....

Find the part number on the website and then you have to order it from an Advance or Auto Zone or whoever you got your wheel from.

I have that one too. I love it. It is way better than my stock wheel. Plus, when I replaced my tape deck with a cd player I had no use for the controls on the wheel. I love how much smaller it is, feels much more sporty. I need to get a new horn button as well. Thanks for the info Wish.

On the formula GT wheel, like the one shown, All I needed to hook up was the center connection on the horn--it's grounded through the wheel itself.

Pic with the chevy horn attached...
