"5.7 Throttle Body Injection" Rocker panel stickers

Good choice in colour combo. I would suggest starting the stripes just up from the front of the hood, nothing on the roof, and then just on the hatch and spoiler, and leave out the rear bumper as well.

well, i'm kinda shooting for something in the middle guys. I'm hoping to run the stripes starting on the nose - over the hood - over the top - and stopping at the wing. It shouldn't look too gaudy (sp?) b/c I have T-tops. Anyway - my father and i have done all the body work ourselves (200+ hours so far...) and its really really coming out well. Hopefully it'll be done in a month or so, once I get out of class for the summer (lousy college...) 90% prep 10% paint - thanks for the tips fellas - keep em' comin'.

That's about as bright an orange as I've ever seen! Looks good so far. I like the heritage style stripes over the straight ones if my opinion is worth anything.

hehe - yeah, its definitely a bright orange - I was shooting for something close to a Chevy Orange since I think the hugger-oranges were a little too dark. I guess you should be careful what you wish for. lol. It would have been darker if it hadn't been for the pearl coat and gold metalflake too...

I knew it looked brighter than hugger orange. I didn't realize it has pearl and metal flake in there too. Can't wait to see it done. Looks like you guys are doing a great job!

I would keep the RS badges and forget about the IROC-Z decals. I'm not a fan of advertising a car as something its not.

Are you really going to have a 350 TBI in there?

So far, lookin good.

well, I didn't have RS badges - i had "CAMARO" badges - externally the car wasn't really anything (actually, i suspect it was a sport coupe) but the Z-28 stuff is kinda appropriate since the car is an amalgamation of itself and a Z-28 parts car. And yea, I do have a 350 with TBI in it - she runs a little rich, but other than some stupid computer bugs, its nice.

Have the rims powdercoated white then polish the surface of the spokes. Add a 91-92 Z28 highrise wing.

I think that color is really bright, and if attention is what you want then you will get it, but i like the stripes on the hood with the hockey stripes on the sides, i think it makes it look like it is going 100 mph sitting still. but that is me.
