wheels????

i am new to this site and this car. i just bought it last week and it is in great shape. has 58k miles on it and the body is pretty much immaculate. my deal is i want to get rid of those gold spoke wheels. i want to get the new ws6 wheels on there. i was wondering what kind of adapter or spacer that i would need. also pics of other cars with them on there.

Welcome to the boards, and as the first reply to your post i just want you to be forewarned before you post a topic on here use the "SEARCH" button first

many on the boards will jump your *** about not doing so i'm not going to do that though

to answer your question, Yes you will need a wheel space i'm not sure which size exactally though, try searching this topic comes up often as there are about 2000 members on the boards

But to answer your question, yes you will need spacers. Go to www.sklute.com and tell them what you have and what you need and they can hook you up.

But yes this has been covered a gazillion times so try the search button.

i have the 2 1/4" fronts 1 1/4" rears, you have to do the math and understand the offsets and how the work.i'm running the grand sport offset which allows you to use less adapter size in the rears

contact Andris skulte at www.skulte.com, and tell him what your trying to do and he will set you up with the right billet adapters. (I went through him to get billet adapters for my C5 wheels and they have functioned without problem thus far)

Did you want pics of the 96-97 WS6 wheels?
Here are some pics of my car with my old 97 WS6 wheels

I used 2.25" spacers from Vettebrakes.com. $353 shipped for the set of 4.
