Not really that bad as far as trouble goes, and I love them.

I have them, and love them... except when they leak and make noise

With good seals and correct placement of the panels, they can be trouble free. Mine do not leak or make noise. I do not have SFC's.

It's pretty cool when its not too hot outside and you pull the sunshades out, you have a nice transparent roof.

I wouldn't usually have one of these cars without them.

You forgot one other choice:
"I have them but wish I had a Targa Top"
That would be my vote.

I don't have them and I'm glad I don't have them. Not that they aren't nice, but I'd rather have a car that's more rigid and weighs less.

I don't know what the original production numbers are (they're on the site somewhere) but it seems like there's fewer and fewer hardtops running around. Probably cause T tops are more popular so people work harder to keep them out of the junkyard.

Have them and wish I didn't. They leak and make the car weigh more, not to mention the creaks and rattles and WINDNOISE. No SFC yet, but shesh when you jack the car up the thing bends like a pretzel. I wish it was a hardtop.

Maybe its all the 1.5 60fts?

I'm with Zepher on this. You needed to put up a targa one atleast. I love the style and how awesome it is to have a t'top car so much that I'm making one into a targa top to make my car 1 in a few dozen if not lower than that.

I had them in my 96 Z28 and I LOVED them. I dont think I would like a thirdgen with them though. I would hate to deal with the bags and it seems that a whole lot of thirdgen t-tops leak pretty bad.

I don't and really wish I did. I wouldn't want a convertable, simply because they are higher maitanance and more difficult to do a good sound system, but at least here in Arizona where we use our A/C 9 out of 12 months of the year they would make a great addition. I'm actually trying to price how much a conversion would cost....

I have them and i wish i didn't. they don't leak and look pretty good after polishing them up but I still think cars without them look better.

I have them on my '86 T/A. They don't leak and have survived the years well. I found a new T-top bag in the junk yard just before I left for OIF. I got back to AZ a few days ago and I will pick up my T/A from TX in a few weeks. I tinted the TT's with 5% limo tint because it gets "nuclear hot" here in Yuma. So far, so good.

I voted that I wish I had them because I think it'd be awesome, but at the same time I like the strength and stability that the hardtop offers over the t-tops.

I love t-tops. Mine dont leak or get wind noise either.

There's nothing cooler then cruising around with the tops off

I have t-tops and like them a lot, but their not perfect. They do leak and the wind noise gets on my nerves on the highway. But my car is bright red and I think they add a nice contrast to the car; that's really what I like best about them, its appearance. I seen a previous post where "Freeze" thought cars looked better without them. If you wanted to, couldn't you just paint them to match your car? How could you do this?
