ground effects for berlinetta

i am wondering if it is possible to attach ground effects to a berlinetta front bumper

i own an 82 without door or front ground effects

i figure any type of side ground effects will fit, but i am not sure about the front. the early ground effects for the front bumper seem to be alot higher off of the ground then the newer ones.

is there any type of ground effect that will fit the berlinetta bumper, and if so which ones.

if i am going to get these used i need to know which ones will fit and which ones won't

this is definetly the best place to ask

hope you guys can tell me

and what would a reasonable price for them be

thanks

no front gfx will fit your bumper, you need to get the front bumper from the right era for the front spoiler. and 82-84 front spoiler needs an 82-84 front bumper. the 85-90 front spoiler is different from the 91-92 front spoiler, but any 85-92 front bumper will work with either.

also, if you're going to go with the gfx for the front and sides, you should get the rear 1/4 gfx and the rear bumper. if you're interested, i have all the bumpers and gfx pieces for sale.

You'll have to ditch the berlinetta/SC bumper covers, they will not work with the gfx's.
I did the swap over a year ago to my 85 SC. I made cardboard templates of all hole locations for the gfx from a j/y car. You have to get the complete gfx for the year you want. 82-84, 85-90, 91-92. The 85-92 front bumper is interchangeable, where as the rear bumpers are not. ME personally I would get 91-92 gfx they look sweet, I would have put that style on my car but I came across a deal I couldnt refuse 200.00 for a complete 85-90 gfx's. Front and rear bumpers, rocker panel, door filler, rear quarter gfx's and a lower front spoiler. Do you already have a spoiler?

89 rs,

i have a the rear spoiler, rear 1/4

i do not have the door fillers, or the front LOWER bumper

but what you are saying is that the berlinetta will not accept ANY gfx

i have talked to a guy and he has the following

-front bumper
-front lights
-front lower bumper
-82 Z28 fiberglass hood
-82 Z28 glass t-tops
-rear bumper
-rear spoiler-rear 1/4
-door fillers

he wants 500 for all of that

all i need is the whole front bumper, lower bumper and door fillers

any idea what i should offer him on the previous price

500.00 for all of that sounds decent, especially the fiberglass hood as well. It has flaps that open up when you accelreate I would try to haggle with him offer 400 cash and go from there. He may say 500 or no parts but it never hurts to try.
