JONGbloed hood

Got my hood {yesterday} from Hawks and shipping was fast. Overall the hood is great and I've received many compliments. A+ in my book.

um, there are little rubber "screw" type bushings on the side that will lower it, but sometimes the nose is just f*cked up and it wont meet right... i have the problem on my car... kinda looks a tad off on the front, but its a tiny flaw in my diamond!! well that and the pain chips, and the crappy headliner, and the drivers seat, and the tranny leak and ... oh chit i just love my car!!!

I had a similar gap on my ASCD SS Hood, to fix the problem I actually unscrewed where the nose screws on under the hood and pushed it up a little, drilled some new holes and screwed it back in...now it sits flush

THe latch that the hood latches into. It is adjustable. Maybe it just needs to be moved down a little.

I did the nose trick. I lowered my hood until it sat flush with the fender lips or top. Then un screwed the nose from the light bar and fabed up a 3/16 metal strip to put under the bumper skin where it bolts onto the light bar. That fixed the big gap that I had.

Thanks guys I chose this hood over a cowl hood because it FLOWS with the car, unlike any other hood.

it really does flow with the car... matches right along with the side of the front fenders... the lines of a cowl hood are to sharp, where as the jong is smooth and looks more like a muscle then a box...

469 for the hood and 150 for shipping through Roadway. The shipping would have been 88 dollars if it wasn't shipped straight to my house so I got ripped on that one. For some reason Roadway said all they could do was home delivery, just another way to get alot of money I guess.

The bumper impact bar underneath the cover is also adjustable, anybody with the gap problem may also want to try this as well.

Side shot

Hey Spinner,
Do you have any side pics with the hood on/painted? Mine's still in the shipping box in the garage, and I need some motivation to get it on.
