Wanted: 1986 & 1987 Camaro Sport Coupe Pics
I'm looking for 1986 & 1987 Camaro Sport Coupe pictures. I am mainly looking to see the visual change of the 1987 Sport Coupe lower panel striping in comparison to the 1986 Sport Coupe lower panel striping.
So basically I am looking for pictures where you see the factory lower panel striping..
Thanks.

My sisters car before she wrecked it. Beleive it or not, this entire car was painted with rattle-cans! It turned out amazing too, the pic doesnt do it justice. My dad didnt want to pay much for the paint, because my sister is a crappy driver (and he thought she might wreck it). Within the first 2 months she was driving it, she ran it into a guardrail. The car wasn't messed up too bad, just a broken front grille, a hole in the hood (82 Z28 fiberglass hood), and a crunched fender. My dad fixed it and sold it :P
The lower pinstriping on the car is not factory, it came from autozone, i think.

my 86 just has 2 stripes about a half inch wide each, one is dark grey, and the other is a lighter grey, both really metallic. those are the stripes, and the car looks identical to Diabolical's, except mine has no mudflaps and the 15" 5 spoke aluminum wheels. that 87 strip posted before looks way different than mine hehe.

You're calling your car a "Sport Coupe" when it fact it isn't a sport coupe. You have a "Camaro LT" (Luxury Touring).
To call it just a "Sport Coupe" is incorrect. You have a "Sport Coupe" WITH the LT package which is called either a "Sport Coupe LT" or "Camaro LT". The reason the stripes on your car neither match the Sport Coupe nor Z28 stripes is because of this; the LT was different and had difference striping. The LT striping is not the same as Sport Coupe, Z28, Nor IROC-Z

A "Sport Coupe" is:
http://www.camarosource.ca/new_site/...987broch12.jpg and http://www.camarosource.ca/new_site/...987broch13.jpg
While a "Sport Coupe LT / Camaro LT" is:
http://www.camarosource.ca/new_site/...987broch10.jpg and http://www.camarosource.ca/new_site/...987broch11.jpg
The LT has different badging, rims, interior styling, upper and lower body striping, handling suspension, lower accent paint, etc)
That's why I made sure to put "All those with factory 1987 Base Coupes (Not including LT)" in my msg.
