custom hood - "double power bulge"

A while ago someone, i think redraif, posted a picture of a firebird's hood that they found at a car show. it was a dark color, and the hood had the formula-style powerbulge mirrored so that there was almost a cowl but not really, there was a seam between the halves. Also, the owner molded in the trans am/GTA nose vents. I had this picture saved but the HDD cr*pped out so i'm hoping some one else has the picture too. I've tried searching and searching but i'm getting nowhere.

I know what hood you mean I think its an IMSA hood or something like that. I did a photoshop of it foro someone....just mirrored and with the hoodscoop from a Viper. I can't seem to find the thread where the actual one is pictured either...but here are my photoshops on a KITT conversion.

That hood was originally made by a company called Diversified Glass Products (DGP), based in Auburn Hills, MI (mid to late 80's) They are long since out of business. They also used to make the IMSA style widened fenders and quarter panels for the 3rd gen. Firebirds (to use really wide tires), and made a lot of neat stuff for the Fiero also. I know they auctioned off all their equipment and molds, so maybe some other company bought them and is producing them now (??).

I'd love to have one for my car too. I remember Motion produced one and I think they're still in business. I haven't heard anything good or bad about their quality though. I like it because it's different from the usual cowl hood or a Ram Air hood.
