Some sweeet pedals....
Hey all, I'm looking for some opinions on some pedals... I've shopped around and think these are some of the best. ALL Aluminum.. no plastic..
http://www.racepedals.com/page18.html
I emailed the owner , RUSS, and he says that he does sell them for our 3rd Gen's even though the website doesn't reflect it.
RS, IROC, Z-28, Camaro, SS logos
What do you guys think?

not my style either, imo they look pretty cheap. these are double the price, but you get what you pay for, and i think they are the nicest pedals on the market. you can get them at http://www.mbaproducts.com/

I think race pedals look good if the ENTIRE interior is done in a race theme. For a stock looking (or at least not "race" inspired), plain black rubber looks best. New rubber pads will do wonders to clean it up "down there".

I know what you mean. I won't even count the number of times I've reapplied the rubber to my brake pedal.. even tried gluing it. It still ends up on my floor.
Anybody seen others?

race theme? there's no such thing as "race theme" there are interior additions and modifications required for racing, and there's ****, i don't care if it was made in dearborn or not, it's **** if you start adding them so that you car looks faster, there is no middle ground.
(i do recognize some people do interior mods because they show their cars, thats an entirely different thing though, so before i catch flak, the above does not apply to you)

OK, whatever you call it, you don't have to change your interior to be fast, but some people choose to change it. That's what I'm talking about. Theme, look, style,...etc. You say tomato.....

Wet shoe on metal... nope, don't think I want my foot slipping off the brake onto the gas pedal like it did in the past nearly ramming into a car. The cut pattern on there isn't enough to keep your foot from slipping off unless you have rock climbing shoes.

I doubt that anyone else would like this but I like my new gas pedal. It is something different and not to many people have this pedal. Here are a few pics of the pedal.
here is what it does.

Just figured I would show a different style pedal even though not many here would like it.

The pedal was made by a guy over in Italy. It cost me $150. I loved the way it looked so I payed the $150 and that included shipping and now I have it. It looks awesome at night.

does it light up more the farther you press it?
and if it does, how does it know how far its being pressed?
ontogenesis:
lets pretend i made Carbon Fiber door panels, a CF dash, CF gauge surround, and a carbon fiber center console... now its REAL carbon fiber pieces.. not overlays, not fake anything. real CF.
my car now weighs almost a 100lbs less... and i do drive it on the street everyday....
is that ****?

There is a button behind the rod on the pedal that once the pedal is pressed the rod comes away from the button and it activates the lights and they scroll all the way up and once you let off the pedal and it hits the button the lights scroll back down and shut off until the pedal is pressed again. It is cool when you rev up the engine because the lights go up so far then scroll back down. It is really cool to see.
Haha, wow, I love the knight rider pedals... but only if I had a KITT car. I too am unsure about having metal pedals if my feet are wet... I don't want to be worrying about that. New rubber is fine for me. Maybe someone should start making metal pedals with rubber inserts? At least I wouldn't have to reattach the pedal every week if it's metal.
And let's not get into a r1ce debate. Do to your car what you like and keep it at that.
