Xpence, Matrix is the company that makes them. The seats are extremely comfortable. At first they take a little getting use to cause the OEM seats were wore out and really soft. After about a week though you get used to them. I've driven to Portland and Spokane which are both 6 hour drives one way. These held up great. They don't make you *** numb after an hour of driving. They have excellent lumbar support, you really lock in on the corners and such. The only downfalls are they don't match the rear seats and that big *** Matrix logo. Those are my only complaints. It sure beats paying $650 for fourth gen seats.

I have no regrets about getting these seats. For the most part they are awesome. On a scale of one to ten I'd rate them as about 8 and a half. Stock seats being a one, aftermarket seats being a 6, and Corvette seats being a ten.
I just ordered this set for my son's Camaro. They also come in red with black trim. Sure hope he likes them.

This is where I got them.

MrDude_1 if you are interested in selling those seats; I might be interested in buying them. If for some strange reason I get rid of my car, I wanna keep my aftermarkets. Email me if you wanna do some business.

MrDude How often do you put lexol on them. My seats aren't tough per say, there 99 camaro leather but I was hoping lexol would do a little extra and make them softer. Hasnt seemed to do anything but make them shiny.

There are some other considerations for low priced seating.
Tenzo R is mostly a "r*ce" company, but their seats are pretty high quality, and not too expensive.

There's also the 4th gen seats, which really don't cost as much as some people seem to think they do. A full set of cloth 4th gen seats will cost you less than almost any new pair of seats. I paid about $550 total for my leather set, and cloth is about half that.
Scouring Ebay can turn up some good stuff too, like those Recaros out of a volkswagen that somebody posted. There are a LOT of those on there. There are usually plenty of other seating options too. Generally if you're going with unique stuff, you've got to plan on fabbing your own seat brackets, but other than that the sky is the limit. Honda seats, Saturn seats, 300zx seats, whatever. Keep an open mind when looking for stuff, but just keep in mind that getting the back seat to match will be the hardest part.

damn I might have to do that. I've been watching ebay but christ they want a fortune. Being the village idiot that I am, my old ones went to the scrapper after I installed the new ones.

Do 4th gen seats bolt right in? I found a 97 camaro at the boneyard and i can get the front and back seats for $45. I have an 89 firebird. Someone there said i might need an adapter bracket for the front seats.
I just pulled out the back seat from another 3rd gen when i saw the 4th gen sitting there. I sat in it and i liked them alot, mainly the headrest position. Even if I need an adapter i might get them.

I Know of a sureity they are a direct bolt in in a camaro and i suspect they are a direct bolt in in a firebird also. I have a set of 95 maro seats in mine that i put in and they look and feel great and were a sinch to put in.

Ok i just did a search and it sounds like they'll bolt in, and from what i read i better get there and get them before they're sold at that price. I tempted to get the center console too.
