I have an 84 berlinetta and was wondering can you replace the center console with a stock one from a non-swivel pod radio console thing lol

the standard radio pod is different from yours, however if you can find one in a scrap yard i belive it's the 85 berlinettas that had a front mount radio pod that looks different than y ours i'll try to find a pic to explain better

That kid bought the "remote" mounting kit from either 'Best Buy' or from 'Circuit City'. I took that picture when he was at my house so I could install a replacement cluster in his car. That particular kit is normally mounted on the underside of the dash of a "regular" car. He mounted it upside-down and screwed to his center console.

BY FAR the best aftermarket radio installation I have ever seen in a Berlinetta. ( & I have seen quite a few attempts over the years ! )

Sure you can.

But you better be prepared to replace just about every other interior part and every other interior wiring harness in the car !!

I know, I've done it before !!!

Check Best Buy & Circuit City for that kit and make life easy for yourself !

I don't know about that. I got an 84 Berlinetta w/ a 383 in it as a project car, and well, it had a full interior except center console. Since I replace everything in my 91 Z's interior with that from a GTA, I had all the pieces from the camaro. I put the 91 camaro console in the berlinetta, and with a little force, it fits just fine.
