SFC Installation prices?

No idea where to put this.

I got an estimate from a frame shop for around $300 to weld in my Spohn SFC's. Is the price right? He said it would take a day, possibly 2 to do. I didn't think it took that long? I'd hate to leave my car overnight anywhere.

That's about what I paid, but I live in the SF bay area. Labor is expensive here. Took him half a day. Look around some more, I'd say.

Do a search on the suspension board this topic is cover'd a lot on there.

I think I gave 140 to 160... they installed sfcs (dropped exhaust), lcas, and brackets.

i was charged $100
thats for the install, and they even spent an hour or 2 banging out the rocker panels since they were crushed in at places.

I did a search beforehand, and couldn't quite find what I was looking for. I probably entered too many keywords though.

Thanks for all the info all.

When i had my Alston's put in a few weeks ago it cost me $75. Pretty cheap considering it took the a little over 2 hours to weld them in. They even had to drop the cat out of the way. Look around....i can't imagine that $300 is a good price anywhere in the country.
