name that paint



i been tryin to figure out for the last week what the name of this paint is. i think it would look real nice on my firebird when i paint it after i get the last bit of body work done

so any help would be great thanx

Yeah it would look good! I would take the pic down to a local paint supply house and see if you can get it matched up. I have had very good paint matching with PPG.

yeah i think thats where i'm gonna be heading tomrrow.
hopefully it's not gonna be any more then $2,000 to paint the entire car like that, and have a pint or left over so i can use it to paint my fiberglass audio install i'm doing.

From the picture it doesn't look like anything more than a really nice silver....I think a lot of it is just lighting. I think you might get the same effect with a silver paintjob with some blue pearl added.

thats what me a few of my friends came up with to.
didnt wanna say nething till either had gottin a couple replies or some1 else on here said it, to see if some 1 came up with the same thinkin as we did.

went to the auto paint supply store yesterday and ask'd bout the paint.

guy told me its the millinium silver off of the newer vettes, and like SC82TA said i can get the blue haze affect with some blue peral. thought i would let every1 know
