5"/Five Inch Spoiler Pics!!!

I have been waiting for some pics for a while, and I finally found some through a third gen owner/racer in Japan. Hope these will satisfy any questions of how it looks.

This spoiler was bought from ASCD, the Hawks will look just the same.

Here are some more pics.

I believe this car was already featured in the appearance board months ago, but still, its a beautifull car! There would be very little i would change on that car if it were mine. Everything looks top notch! The spoiler looks great too. Not overdone, and could be easily overlooked by someone with little knowlege about these cars. Love the color too. Ok ok, i'll stop creaming in my pants now! lol

I am sure they are some type of "Tuner" wheels. Or maybe that is what they would call them since that is the big trend over there. Everything seems to be "tuner" this and "tuner" that. Ah, i'm just messing around, i have no idea what kind of wheels those are, although i may not be too far off! lol

awesome looking car..great paint job the only thing i would change on it is the rear spoiler....thats only becasue i am a huge fan of the high rise spoiler!.....and also if i WASN"T going for a custom look definetly would look sweet with an aftermarket hood.

thats just my 2 cents.....

Here's a before and after pictures of my car with the new spoiler. It has not gotten the paint on it just yet, just white primer before I put the car pu for the winter. I will have it painted in the spring and post new pictures then.

Well, here's one more try at this, bear with me since I'm fairly new to the computer age. This should be before and after photos.

Man, this is frustrating as can be, I've tried different things but still can't get it to work. It keeps telling me that it is too large for the attachment file to handle. Not sure what to do about it. I've scanned the pictures into my pc and all seems to be ok till I submit it. I'll keep trying.

Ok, I tried my hand at resizing the pictures, I think I've got it now. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Any way, I hope this works rightime. Thanks for the tip..

Looks bad like bad ***, or just bad/ugly? I think it looks pretty good. Was there much work to get it aligned?

5 inch spoiler pictures

It really wasn't that bad to get it to fit properly. I had to do so fine fittment on the contours on the end pieces to get the heights and gaps the same. I'm no body man at all, but with a little time and the right sand papers to remove material slowly, it came out pretty good. I got the gaps the same and the overall height matches up. I shot it with white primer for now. I'm going to have it painted by the bodyshop that I use for paint work. I'm going to let him put finishing touches on the overall straightness, meaning getting it perfectly smooth, before painting. When I talk about the contours, I'm talking about the underside of the end pieces where it fits to the body. Mine plenty of material to work with, if you go to far just use a little body filler to build it up and try again. I had to on the one side, since I went the wrong way to begin with, not the fault of the part, just my stupidity.

i think with that spoiler, grid tail lights and a cowl hood, you could have one bad looking car! imagine...all the cool mods, but done subtle like, ya know? i would think that it would be only other thirdgen owners that would notice. those are the kinds of appearance mods i am into.

The wheels are volk racing GTP, the size that this car is running on is 17X8. Here is a good place to check them out.
