the door panels in the stock picture are stock door panels for camaros and firebirds. the gta molded door panels were an optional thing only found on some gta's.

Actually the door panels can be found on Firebirds, Formulas, Trans AM's and GTA's I have a Formula with those door panels, it was availble only a few years, I think from 86 - 89 abouts, not really exactly sure on the years.
BUT you would get those door panels with the "Deluxe" interior, which also included a standard looking seat with seat back pouches. The "ULTIMA" seats commonly called the GTA seats also got those door panels. They were NOT a GTA only item. Redraif has them on her base V6 Firebird, and I have seen several other base firebirds with them
Rarity? I doubt anyone would know considering Pontiac seems not to have kept reliable information in th 80's.

im recovering a set of grey ones. Im just gonna repaint/dye everything but the carpet and then adhere some new black or dark grey material to where the cloth is. Hope it works, shouldnt be too hard. The only part im currently worried about are the tabs the clips mount in, some are missing and regular door panels dont have em, oh well.

hey those are my GTA panels! I'm so proud
I had them dyed (they were actually painted) and recovered in a red pleather. It's fairly easy really. You can change the color with basic prep and black vinyl paint. Now getting the cloth redone - that might cost ya. It cost me 300 bones.
