"light roll over"

Isn't 2 grand a little too much for a totaled V6 car?

ummmm.... letseee I could have picked up a 1992 Trans AM Convert for $2000 that was dented just down the side, the top was fine except for that knife wound...

NO it is worth closer to about... $250.00 IMO. Considering that the engine and trans MIGHT be the ONLY salvagable part of the car. and there are not alot of people wanting a V6 in a Firebird

My favorite comment "This former mint condition automobile." Umm technically wasnt all of our cars "Mint Condition" at one time?

I guess I could always try to get $2000 out of my rusted out 83 Trans am with no interior, that will run if I put in a Distributor. It too is a "Former Mint Condition automobile" Back in 1983 for sure...

I was thinking of buying an older camaro once, guy said it was in mint condition. Asked him what color it was and his answer..."primered gray". WTF , hate to see what he considered used!

"Needs new front clip, front fender work, and transmission fluid."

its not the fact that it needs a clip and fender work that scares me, body work is easy. But transmission fluid, i just cant handle transmission fluid.

once you wreck the trans fluid your screwed, muffler bearings are probably shot also, and the blinker fluid gaskets probably leak!:lala:

Since it just needs tranny fluid, I say go for it! DOH!

Is that an SLP cold air intake or did those come factory on the late models? I was looking for this airbox...wonder if that's it?

thats a factory air box on those cars, the box itself is restrictive but you could probably just replace it with a cone filter.

yea. rolling convertibles is not a real good idea. my dad hit a cement pole and rolled his lebaron convertible into a field over the summer:

Got frame damage?

Just make sure you replace the air in the tires, sometimes after a rollover like this the air gets all mixed up and needs refreshing...

Needs new front clip, front fender work, and transmission fluid.
What are you guys talking about? That's an easy fix, I mean come on all you need is a front clip, front fender work, transmission fluid and a nice coat of wax and it should be brand new. Personally to get some of those light scratches out I would use Meguires Gold Class, that should do the trick.

And to think $2000 for a once mint car, that just needs minor repairs. What a steal! LOL

"was involved in a light roll" ???

This guy obviously didn't realise that with the added air pressure from the low tranny fluid, and the recent high level of plutonium in the headlight fluid that his car would have a natural tendancy to want to turn inside out....

$2K oh wow.....
