That would be me , I used 3m general trim adhesive to attach ther carpet to my panels. it's held great and i just recently got done doing the same thing to the Iroc although i won't be installing any of it till march or april it's winter here and cold now(slighty differently to be different between both cars) you can click on the link to my webpage in my sig to see a couple more.
Here's a few pic's.

The carpet pieces, pre-cut or not, can be had from The Paddock.

Well I dont have it back in my car, I figured while the panels were out, I'd clean her up a bit. But all the carpeting is done. I had to do my headliner in two pieces, but the way the carpet is made you can hardly even tell its two pieces, Ill go out in the garage in a sec, and get some pics. I'm soooo happy how they turned out. I didn't want a **** look. It just looks real clean. VERY NICE!

As you can see I'm excited :lala: :lala:

Ok Here are some pics, They turned out ok. The carpet looks more wrinkled than it actually is, the fabic is that stuff that if you rib it one way its smooth and the other way its rough. So you'll notice that in the pics

I got the fabric from a local fabic shop. Called Fanny's Fabric. I was waiting for my hair cut appointment, and the store was beside it. I went inside looking for Headliner material and maybe some sub box carpeting, and over in the discount bin was about 4 meters of this black stuff, its got a tough back, but a super soft front. It was regular $12.95 a meter. I got the whole rest of the roll for $15.00

It was roughly 2 meters in width, and almost 4 meters in length.
I used Hot glue to get the edges over and smooth, and Alymers spray on Adhesive to make it stick to the panel.
I reccomend the Alymers, real easy spray, it sticks at first, but takes an hour to harden, so leaves plently of time to re-adjust. Doesn't smell or give head aches. Took me and my Girl Friend about 2-3 hrs to complete. I have some material left, but its just odds and ends, maybe enough to do a few touchups, but thats about it.

Materials used:

2x4 meter material
Sharp Knife
Sharp Sizzors
Spray Adhesive
Hot Glue Gun
Tape Measure

I bought 2 cans of spray but I only needed one. I used about 12 sticks of glue.

I had enough to do headliner, and all panels except the very rear, and i left out a bit of plastic, and I didn't re-cover the pieces that go over the 6'9 spot. They arn't as faded as the pic shows.

2-3 HOURS!!! that is very hard to believe unless you used a material that is very stretchy and flexible. I did my int with grey speaker box carpeting and it turned out great. Dave84bird and I have been friends for almost 15 years and so I showed him how my int turned out he loved it and he did his car. he said his car took just as long as my car did. pretty much all winter. each panel inside the car takes a very long time b/c basically you have to cut alot of pieces of carpet to make a jigsaw type of puzzle and glue them all together. it took me about 2 hours alone just for 1 kickpanel. most fabric unless it is very thin and flexible will not just conform to the contours of the panel so if anyone is planning on doing this then plan on making it a winter project and do it when time permits like sitting in front of the t.v. while watching a movie. as far as glue Dave and I both used 3M super77. that is pretty much the best stuff out there. I got my carpeting at Mills Fleet Farm.

Yup only took a few hours, the carpet I had, sorta had a mesh on the other side, very stretchy, I used Hot glue to hold it sprayed some adhesive, and rounded the corner, held it down for maybe 10 secs, and on to another area, I noticed now that its back in the car, that it has peeled in a few areas, but mostly from the install, so maybe another 10 mins from the Hot Glue gun, and the touch ups are complete
