What area of the seat is wet? It can leak in through the t-top seals without getting the headliner wet. This would be at the back corners where the t-tops meet the windows though, leaving wet spots on the front corners of your rear seats, near the doors. I have heard of leaks through the hatch area as well, but have no experience with them.

I took my weather stripping off completely, along with the black center piece that bolts to the roof. I ran a bead of silicon around all of it, and now the only leaks I get are right where the weather stripping connects at the front of the window on the t-top... Little drip every now and then, my old trashed red interior was wasted from year of water damage that the original owners never took care of.
