Do they have auto up/down?
And how do they compare size-wise to the normal 3rd Gen switches?

Yes they will work. If you'd rather go new, you can get them from your local GM dealer for about $10 each.

I've already got my 4th Gen console, and am trying to figure out the window and mirror switch stuff - hopefully w/o losing the ash tray.
Are the power window switches from a 91-94 Saturn SC or SC2 two separate switches (kind of like our current 3rd Gen switches), or is it a combined switch module w/both switches mounted in it? I also saw where they are smaller than the standard 3rd Gen switches, but do you have any comparison sizes so I can get an idea of how small they are? That way I can try and figure out how I can place them. Then all I have to do is figure out what mirror switch to use, and where to put it (ideas and suggestions are welcomed as long as no parts of the anatomy are involved)
Can anyone tell me if a 4th Gen driver's door switch module with the mirror control and two window switches is one complete unit, or if the individual switches can be removed and used seperately? Also, how do they compare to the size and wiring of the 3rd Gen switches.
As for searching, I've spent hours looking at all the posts, but have yet to get a definitive answer (at least thru my old thick skull, anyway).
Hopefully I can get some help figuring this out, and then will post a "Final Answer" thread with pictures, how to's, etc.
Have a Great Day!

Even the windows in my truck are slow (brand new motors). Must be a GM thing. The windows on my Infiniti are like WHOOOOOOOOOOSH. Up in around 1.5 seconds.

did you just splice the BMW switches in place of the old switch that connected to the shifter plate?

Someone seriously needs to confirm that any autodown switches will work. I've heard a lot of theory thus far, I know a few folks have, but with mixed results. So whats the deal with these BMW switches ?
