Have given up trying to find lid for my 83 T/A that does cost the proverbial arm and leg. Swapping into an 86 Z28 console, at the same time putting in Year 1 carpet and seats form 95 T/A. At this point have everything removed but getting the original console out was a royal pain mainly because of the brake handle. Fitting in the new looks like it will be just as much fun... any tips for installing the new console? Thanx
