painted my t tops... got a question

my t tops are painted black.. origionally because of acid rain damage.. thought it would be a temporary fix until i got new ones.. but it looks really good (ill post a pic later) its GM medium gloss spray paint.. you can get it at wal mart.. but it looks really cool from inside, it makes it a black mirror to the interior.. but my question is.. the paint comes off really easy because its on glass.. (they are actually the lexan tops) what can i do to get the paint to bond better so it dosent scratch off at the slightest touch? sand the paint off and rough up the glass a little? or is there some kind of treatment i can use? and the car will be all black here pretty soon, and im gonna get them repainted with the same color black, but i still want the paint to bond. id appreciate any feedback

the only reason i was a little reluctant to do that was because i thought it might mess up the cool mirror effect on the inside. you think that would work though?

I'll have to see pics of this! Sounds like it would only work on a black car!

I'd say rough it up and test paint an area. Should work!

Someone has done this on their bird. They recently had it painted and they had their Lexan tops painted the body color at the body shop. It looks interesting its like a sunset orange bird or a similar color. The guy said he has a second pair of glass tops anyways in case he gets tired of the look. I thought it looked good, I think it was on the appearance board about a week or so ago.
