front air splitter

front air splitter

has anyone made a air splitter or air defuser for the front of their camaro or firebird yet. i made my factory rear spoiler taller with aluminum, now to make a aerodynamically car a step better in the front. any ideas or input would be most appreciated. thanks pat

you made your factory rear spoiler bigger with aluminum, do you have an pics of it.

Axle/Gears: 02 SS Rear with 3.23 Gears
woooooooo. the rear spoiler is fiberglass with an aluminum insert. all painted white like the car. it looks like a 70-81 z28 spoiler from the scca series back then. the front spoiler i am looking at making a additional piece to attach to the lower air dam. like black rubber for flex, but cut down on the air going under the corners.(still open in the middle for the radiator).

please don't flame on this one. i'm am not doing anything to completely change the camaro, just using the stock pieces and adding to it. i'll try to get pics of it this weekend as i am finishing the center section tonight. here is a crappy pic of what i did to the rear spoiler....(paint)

I'm glad you cleared that up (sort of). I had pictured a six feet tall spoiler with lights, speakers, and about a thousand stickers for parts not even on the car . Sounds like the air deflector could be a good idea though. Later, b-man.

i'll really try to get pics this weekend. kinda hard without a digi-cam

anywho, has anyone made a lower vailance for the front out of rubber? i was going to use conveyour belting cause it's tought and smooth(armor-all it) smooth look without standing out so much. thanks, pat

this is something i found. the rear spoiler looks like mine, but mine is body color(white)
