How much should I expect to pay for a paint job

I'm not looking for a bargan basement paint job. I want a good looking paint job. Here's what I got and what I plan to do. First off it's a 91' Camaro T-top with the famous peeling paint, I've been told that the car would have to be stripped to bare metal before it can be repainted does this sound right?? I plan on removing all plastic ground effects and anything that would get in the way of painting such as taillights, weatherstripping so on. I also plan on getting a new SS hood. I want to change the color from teal to black. I want everything painted, door jams, under T's. The only place I want left alone is the engine compartment, I'll leave that till I do a motor swap. How much should I expect to pay with everything I've mentioned??

Also when painting the door jams do they have to remove the doors or should I have them remove the doors?? And what about the rear hatch should they remove that??

3 grand for a good paint job, i wouldn't go any less d00d. Maybe you can beocme friends with a body shop owner likei did and get the work done for free and only have to pay the 1 grand for paint. But as cheap as you'll prolly find it $1500...

Prices will be different depending on the place. Your best bet is to actually go to body shops around you and get an estimate. Check out other cars they're doing/have done and see how they've turned out. Do your research and you're less likely to be disappointed and/or ripped off.
