i was bored

well, i threw out my back so i had some time on my hands and i painted the fire chicken for the back of the T/A ............. let me know what you think, i wanted to make it look like a 70s style ones for the hood

i etched off the paint on the back and repainted with acryllic, the pics are bad cause i cant bend over on account of my back

BigMike, that looks great! I will need to repaint my gold bird to silver when my car is repainted. How did you remove the plastic piece that covers the bird without damaging it? I would just replace the whole section, but i've found 2 silver ones in junkyards now that are okay but not in as good of shape as my gold one is.

JeremyNYR ,, buy a new silver one from year one for $13.00 and sell you'r gold one on E-bay to pay for it. Or keep it for a wile , they don't make gold ones anymore so it will be worth more later.
