convertable headliner?
Hey guys.
I have t-tops and I want to cut the t bar out. Will the converable headliner fit in afterwards. I am just talking about the part where teh sun visors are, not the back part.
Could you post some pics of one?
thanks

It's not a "headlinder" per se...IT's just a plastic piece that fits against the windshield between the a-pillars.

I'm not so sure that will work. I can take pics of mine tonight when I get home. (If I remember). Sounds like a cool project. What are you going to cover it with after you cut it out? Sounds like a corvette style removable hard top!!

I plan on get a pice of lexan large enough to connect to the t-top handle, end parts. I bought a pair of plexy-glass t-tops and plan on taking them apart and replacing the two pieces with one large lexan pieces.

That would be pretty cool. I keep forgetting to take that picture. I'm to wraped up in my own project to do it. I'll try again tonight.

here is a suggestion for the look of a corvette hardtop, instead of cutting out the tbar, just remove the lip at the top of it that the t-tops sit in, then u should still be able to fabricate a one peice top without risking body strength or cutting anything just a thought

I have not cut anything yet. Waned some insight to what will work to give it a after look from the interior.
Is the vette roof teh same width has a 3rd gen?
I don't think it is so I am not sure if that would work.
Thanks for the pic
