Can I Just Drill Holes and bolt on my gfx to my SC?

Can I Just Drill Holes and bolt on my gfx to my SC?

or do i need some sort of mounting bracket?

If you don't have the backing brackets on the GFX, then you will need to get those or try and fab some up.

sup bro, you will need the mounting brackets or fab some up like zepher said.

Yes, but you may have that bracket already on the piece. If there are 5 studs sticking out on it, thenyou have the frame/backing plate.

ok, so any car that came with factory gfx i could get the brackets off, thanks guys

I put ground effects on my 86. It was a sports coupe just like yours. I just welded on some thicker sheet metal for the gound effects on the door. Otherwise, the ones that attach to the doors and the ones below the quarter panel groundeffects, I just took some poster board, traced the design, and put wholes it. Lined it up on the body, a few quick wholes with the drill, and ta da. It was all done.
