Glow Guages
Where can I get some glow guages for my iroc guage cluster? its goes up to 145. Ive checked ebay but didn't really like any of there style except for the one below. But they have it messed up
They use the early style font on the tachometer and the newer style on the others.

Thats the only thing holding me back. Im not sure if they make that for an 88 SC. What does your speedometer go up to?

Bought mine from www.streetracerparts.com
The pic of them on was taken when it was still light out, so they don't look that bright.
They came with a switch to go from blue or green, and a dimmer **** that makes them from off all the way to blinding!

The closest I could find were these . These here have the 80MPH display. If you search I believe you can find other speedometer faces.

I installed a set exactly like aaron7 has on a friends sunfire back in march or so. I had a problem with them not laying flush with the guage and it interfeering with the travel of the needle. I think we have more space between the needle and guage so it may not be an issue.

aaron7 I was wondering if you had a pic of those installed? I know my needle doesn't light up in my 87 and I was thinking it might look strange with the gauge all lit up but the needle is dark. Shed some light on this (bad pun). Also how much are those?
Also, and I could be wrong on this, don't the wires get in the way? It was a long time ago that I took my gauge cluster apart and cleaned it a bit but I don't remember there being a good way to hide those wires. Am I crazy??? Let me know if you can.

Ok, mostly installed now, but I have an electrical question.
Can I pull out all the dash gauge bulbs and just run the glow gauge wires to one of the sockets? Or will having 2 rheostats (one for dash dimmer, one that's on the gauges) overload something?

aaron7...
Personally, I just left the stock bulbs in so that the needles light up at night and I can use the dimmer on them. However, I was thinking about using a thick gauge fishing line to somehow connect to the back of the needles and the front of one of the stock bulbs.
Furthermore, I think the complete solution to my idea would be getting some 4 bulb/cluster LED replacements for the stock 194 bulbs. Then, I'd like to epoxy one end of the fishing line to an LED bulb , followed by covering the un-epoxied area of the bulb with either electrical tape or some other means as to isolate the light pattern/lighted ared, and epoxying the other end of line to the back of the needle.
The end result would be a DIY fiber optically lit needle, without the annoyance of the LED bulb's light being seen anywhere else on the gauge face(ex: like how the light shines through the base of the needle)
Hmm...any ideas, suggestions, or comments?!?!?!

Sounds like a neat idea! Let us know how it works out.
I have everything installed, and it is amazing! All I can say about it that I don't like is the fact that I look at them too much when driving (they just look sooooo cool!)
I'll post pics when I get home from work.

Ok, here's the pics I promised. They don't do them justice though! (I need to lay off the caffeine too... I can't take a clear pic!)

Problem
Now I do like these gauges, because they do NOT have that irritating cyan blue center, they're more clean.
However, has anyone seen a set like these, i.e. without the cyan blue glowing center, but not in silver, but in white ?
