new sill plates!

i have been looking for years and haven't wanted to pay the outrageous price of custom making them for over 100 a side.

anyone have these in either the brushed aluminum or carbon fiber??

the two pontiac/chevy are the same aren't they? i've used pontiac plates in chevy's before when that's all that was left at the yard.

as far as the year setup...i'm not sure, i emailed them about it but have yet to hear back. i would assume they would fit. however i asked for better pictures. their pictures of the carbonfiber piece is terrible.

Kandied. How do you intend to deal with the inside panels lining up? Let me explain better....

I've contemplated making aluminum door sills for some time now. It would be fairly easy with my welding experience and access to school's welding/machining lab (at least until October I think).

Problem is, if you look at the stock door sills, they wrap around to hold down the carpet, and line up with the kick panels and rear side panels of the interior. To make an aluminum door sill cover the carpet and bolt down isn't hard, but it will look a bit odd lining up with the interior panels.

if you build off the plastic mold it shouldn't be a problem....

doesn't matter since the company emailed me and said the don't exist.........very strange. guess it's back to the drawing table.
