You gotta love the "open louvers" on the hood!
I found it kinda interesting

Damn! I wish I had the money to build a full tubed chassis and throw that baby on there. Man, think of the weight loss and easy access to components.

the guy's description is kinda confusing he says

The Entire front end is not interchangeable with the stock front end. It can be used in its entirety on the front of a factoryI sold over 20 of these bodies to people for various purposes.
he also says the hood needs to be trimmed 3 or 4 inches to fit on a stock car.

maybe someone should do some research into who actually fabricated the racing bodies in the 80's, it's entirely possible that they still have the original molds in storage. Possibly someone who has capabilities to fabricate could start cranking out some aftermarket 'glass parts for us Camaro lovers! I know I'd be interested in a direct fit 'glass hood with working louvers, and maybe some fenders, deck lids etc..........

classic sells a fiberglass front clip (nose, GFX, fenders) all connected as one piece for like 650. must drop a lot of weight.

my next project will be an iroc and i plan on buying the clip 1st thing... if its still in production by then
