Hey I was just checking out cars on ebay and I thought it would be ultimate if you could get this interior in a 3rd gen I mean like if you could find a wrecked one HEH Id take the engine as well.

It would have to be a wrecked one though thers no way Id tear up a 2002 SS. *** I wish I had one of those.

I agree some arent nice, but some 3rd gen can have good interior style. Lets put it this way... 4th gens had the good Interior Style, But 3rd gens had the good exterior style.

I think everything has it's place. I love my thirdgen interior. It's 80's style for an 80's style car.

I agree with Abubaca, I like the 3rd gen style interior for what it is, an 80's car, its not up to date today because it was designed for a different era. When we look back in 10 years and look at the 4th gens we will think the same thing, its all about the evolution of cars.

BTW, I am not saying I will leave my interior as is, I like to tinker with it... and maybe some day I will have a one of a kind...

Yeah, tinkering is fun. Ideally I'd have two Irocs. One pretty much the way mine is now, and one with all the latest trends. If you watch all these car shows on nowadays, or go to a car show, you see the same things. Crazy paint, big wheels, modern interior. don't get me wrong, I think those things are cool, but most all look cookie cutter. There's not a whole lot of original thinking.

I can't tell you how many people tell me that my car stands out because it looks pretty much stock.

...but like I said, I wish I had two!

Nick i think your interior is sweet as hell! I love what you did to it, goodjob.

Dont the 3rd gen door panels look much cheper then the 4th gens? I think they do. But yeah i do respect the 3rd gens interior, its from the 80s it was a diff ERA. So it was a diff time period

That is exactly what I am going to do, I have 2 basically the same 87 Formulas, both yellow, one I am going to have fun with, mod it, change it whatever, the other is all seriously original...
