Looks good are those aftermarket upper strut mounts? if so does your dust caps fit in them, mine didn't I would suggest sanding off the brake surface of those rotors you don't want the paint enbeded in the pads.

Ran out of grinding discs. Wanted to go red, to contrast the silver.
Looks good with the wheels on. Plus looks better than serface rust. The bearing plates are original, just dont have the caps for them yet.

Wow, the engine sure looks tiny in there without all the other stuff. Is that the same paint on your engine that you used on the car or did you find some high temp paint that looks close too it. I am playing around with the idea of painting my engine block the same color as my car but I don't want the paint to burn off. Your car is looking really, really nice man! Keep it up!

Yes it is base coat clear coat. The block will be okay but i don't know about the heads yet. According to my buddy the paint will hold up okay. Not really worried gunna get aluminum heads soon.

although that paint does look damn sexy, i am not sure how it is going to hold up to the high heat, keep us informed, if it holds up, this may take some of the guesswork out of our work. It always sucks to be a guinepig, but we are all one sometime, keep the pics coming , looking really nice!

It should hold up on the block, Just not sure on the heads. At least around the exhaust ports.
