The new wing - much lighter. So much so that when I was diassembling the decklid and removed the wing, my supposedly dead hatch struts macically lifted my hatch. Turns out that just the left one was dead. Go figure.

When I bought the car it had some bubbling at the top corners of the side windows - not any more.

looking good, avoid the tape line primer on the roof. it may be hard to sand level and the paint may take diffrently. where that transition is.

Thanks, this is my first attempt at doing body work. Although the only reason that is sitting still this long is because my trans bought the farm at the end of July.

It's basically ribbon sealer ( http://products3.3m.com/catalog/us/e...er/output_html ) like what used to be used on older cars front windscreens. Autozone carries it (not 3M though) in the isle with all the RTV stuff.

Look at the top left hole. Can you guess what I used to make that hole? ...My middle finger! The cars under coating and seam sealant was holding it together.
