Some SOB tried stealing my car. Lucky for me they didn't know what the heck they were doing...hehehe. But they did peel the steering column so now I've decided to swap it out for a steering column with a few options mine was missing (i..e tilt, cruise, intermittent wipers).

Here's my questions:

1) How can I tell if the replacement column came out of a vehicle with VATS?

2) I am still trying to gather the laundry list of parts needed for the cruise control. Can I still swap the columns out without having all the cruise control pieces?

3) What parts do I need for the change from standard wipers to intermittent wipers (i.e. I'm presuming I'll need a new wiper motor but is there anything additional)?

4) Are there any special tools, etc that I should have ready before attempting this swap?
