Cowl hood??
I am looking for a 2-4 inch cowl hood that curves back toward the windshield on the end of the cowl. Most of them that ive seen are just straight. I need one that bolts to all my factory hardware though. If anybody knows a place that i can get one let me know. Thanks guys!

The 3" Cervini cowl hoods ride back towards the windshield. I think the 4" Harwood cowls do too. You can get the Cervini one at Cervinis.com and the Harwood at summit.

Something like this??
It's a Glasstek 2.5" cowl hood, and the fit is pretty darn good out of the box. It's also a straight bolt on.

They have them listed as a 2" for 380.00. And they have them in a 4" version.
The bodyshop that prepped the hood said that it was one of the better fiberglass hoods (for 3rd gens) he's seen in awhile as far as fit and finish go. He also mentioned that Cervini's hoods were very good quality too.

Anybody have pix from inside the car? I wanna see the 'open' part of the hood, i'm looking for the same style hood, 3" cervini or harwood that has the backing piece with the screen on it, i dont wanna it all open because my car sits outside during the summer months, dotn want rain and weather getting all in the engine bay..

Just go to Glasstek.com
I just bought a 4" Bolt-On and It's great. It needs some touchups, but I would say great overall. You'll need to size up your mounting brackets. The Glasstek Hood uses a 1/2" Screw while , at least mine is, the stock hood is 10mm. That and you'll need to cut away some of the fiberglass for your locking mechanism to clamp your hood bar fully. My hood fits perfect. Personally I ground away the extra inch of fiberglass on the front lip that hangs down, but that's just me.
The Only thing I can't figure out how to do is how to mount the Spring. Without the spring, opening your hood becomes a 2 person job. Anyone figured that one out?
