Need help with some interior problems

Well ive got 4 questions for you guys about things that are wrong with my interior any help would be greatly appreciated

1. Some of the edges of my headliner are sticking out, how should I go about fixing this little problem?

2. The side on my console is tearing away from the console, I figured I can use a C Clamp and 2 boards and glue it back on. Anyone know what kind of glue i should use for that?

3. I need to replace the weatherstripping on my car and was wondering if there was a complete kit for the hatch and the doors?

4. Can I use 3m rubbing compound to get rid of the scratches on the plastic for my guages?

Thanks in advance for any help

1. I assume your saying the material has ripped at the edges? In which case it would need to be recovered or replaced. Theres a few threads on recovering it but if you dont have any upholstery experience you should probably take it to an upholstery shop.. I think going rate is around $100 or so for labor.

2. Probably not a good idea to glue it, just about any glue will head up and seperate again, check some junk yards for a new one or do a search on ebay, or Hawks.

3. I think there are just seperate kits for the the hatch and doors. Not that there would big a big price difference anyways. Try Hawks Third Gen in the link at the top of the page, I'm pretty sure they carry weatherstripping.

4. It really depends how deep the scratches are. All polish does is use abrasive compounds to.. well basically it scratches out the scratches but the particles are small enough so you cant visibly see it. Only way you'll know is to try it, I believe they offer 3 different stages of plastic polish so if its not too bad you should be able to take it out.

Hope that helps

if the whole headliner is seperate it might... key work might be able to be glued back, more than likely its just the cloth part, in which case it will need to be reupholstered or replaced.
