wiper switch ?

i'm not ready to fix this just yet (hands full with other issues), but on my '91, sometimes i have to really crank the m/f lever in the wiper "mist" position. sometimes it'll work fine, most times it doesn't. i have replaced the m/f lever, but apparently there's something worn elsewhere. if i have to replace that "something" (switch), how hard is it? i will probably do it the same time i replace my steering wheel, so no big deal there. thanks.

Tough job. Have to just about disassemble the column to get the switch out. Just did this in my pickup, 4 hour job. I'd live with it long as possible.
