Outer door Handles

I am thinking of replacing the outside door handles as the one on the car at the moment are all scrapes. I see there are aftermarket ones on ebay that look cheap enough. I was wondering if anyone has fitted aftermarket handles and if they fitted properly and were as good as originals. Anyone know the name of a good aftermarket vendor.

Thanks.

The "Help" section in most any auto parts store has the correct handle for your car..they work fine, $20.

While i like the idea of the flush door handles, the ones pictured i personally do not feel fit teh square lines of a thirdgen. I was going to use 88-96 chevy truck door handles.

BUY GM DOOR HANDLES.

help section and the ones from AAA were junk, IMO.
was gonna hit the door and scratch my new paint.

guy here in town used some impala SS door handles. i guess they have a better location for the door lock rods and such. they look pretty nice.

good to own a body shop too, LOL.

I like the late-model GM doorhandles. I have had a set of '99 Grand Prix handles for over a year and still haven't cut them into the doors yet. I'm glad to see what it'll look like when done. Good job.

I got handles from 1aauto, wound up scratching my new paint when i went to install it because it hit the door when you pulled on it. Fixed it with a few washers but that shouldn't have been necissary. I'll admit though, as far as looks go they look pretty good. Here's a picture of the stock original one next to the new non gm one.

4th gen handles fit perfect... no square indentation.

Smooth.
