black interior Vs. red interior
ok i have a black set and a red set. now it would be alot easier for me to just put the black in rather then paint the red. but what i want to know is how easily will i be able to sell the red???? is any one ever looking for red???? i want a black interior but i need $$$$ so if the red would atleast sell then i will keep the black but i if no one ever buys red than i will sell the black and paint the red. any tips????

From what i see, the only people that want red interior are the guys restoring their car. It's not one of he more popular interiors.
Originality will sell. If one or the other is original, go with it. However it exterior color has changed, then insides are less of an an issue. Condition of the interior relative to the condition of the car is also a factor. If the car's not that great, then don't waste a good interior on it. IMHO.

I love my black interior (carpet, console, 4th gen ebony leather seats, recoverd sail pannels and headliner) My girlfriends car is tan and black and we tryed to save the tan but i think its getting converted to black, it just looks so much better IMO- i would say go with what you think will look better- if you dont want a red interior dont put one in because youll kick yourself later. I tried to cut corners looking to see what will be the cheapest and stuff thats why im spending twice as much now.

Red is probably the color that gets swaped over to black the most. I like the 91-92 Camaro red interiors. The are a bright red. I used some of those pieces when i did my red and black interior, used to be light grey! I would keep it if I had a black camaro and was going to stripe it red or something! The older style reds and the bird reds were darker, more burgandy. Was not too fond of them. Black looks the best IMO. Its does not stain as easy. But the balck carpets show dirt easy. Though they clean up great.
Try and stick the whole red interior as a unit on Ebay. Someone maybe looking for a complete restoration and need better pieces then what they have. Post it here in the classified for a while first. If no luck try Ebay!

I'm swapping from gray to red interior. I'm interested if the interior is in good shape. Shoot me an email at m.broth@comcast.net.

Somebody had a complete red (the bright red) seat upholstery kit on EBay a while back for the separate head rest - split back seat interior, opening bid of about $95 with no bidders. Listed a couple times. Haven't seen it lately though but that sure would be the deal for your seats.

HAHA!
Your car has that "bottom of the door scrape" too. I hate that I have to get new bushings and door pins.
