High rise spoiler with 85-89 ground effects

What do you guys think of having just the high rise spoiler and hood blisters from a 91-92 and ground effects from 85-89? Will the car look funny with that combination?

Just a thought.

Usually when you see that high rise spoiler on a camaro it has the 91-92 GFX too. I just don't want the car to look like it's missing something.

My car has the z28 spoiler with 85-80 gfx & ram air hood. I think it looks really good and pretty aggressive. check out my car domain.

Question answered. Problem solved. I think I will go with the high spoiler and keep my '86 IROC GFX's. I don't want my car to look too much like 91-92.

nice car eric.

Its GM Bright red, but it its the bluer aged version. I did not like how orangey the original GM color is. I liked the way the paint looked after 10 years of age. See the sun fades the yellow out of paint and and window tint first. So it leaves more red and blue tones in the paint, ergo less orangey. So when I went to the painter I said I wanted the same color the car came with, but the darker aged version.

my car used to have the highrise on it and altho i love that spoiler on these cars i switched back to the 3 piece for the iroc look. the only part of the 91-92 gfx i like is the front spoiler(which is on my car) i think it looks kinda dumb with the two extra scoops and im not a fan of the rear bumper. i swapped out my factory hood louvers for some blisters tho.

I too installed a high rise spoiler on a '88 iroc.. and nothing else. I think it looks good. I'd like to remove the hood louvers and replace them with the newer blisters but I am unsure if it is a perfect fit replacement.. anyone know?
