I am about 99% sure that http://summitracing.com or http://jegs.com sells a kit for this. It converts your normal seats to heated.

I know that on Lexus cars(I work at a Lexus dealership) they use a Peltier system. You say it like this Pel-tee-a. Anyway, it is basically a grid that is grafted into the foam of the seat cushion and has electricity going to it. On one setting it heats, but if you reverse the polarity, you get seat a/c.

I almost forgot that you also need some type of fan to blow air through the Peltier element or it won't do squat!

I installed an aftermarket heater element pad in a stock tahoe seat a few years back. Pretty easy install. And worked very quickly, which is key.
I can't remember the company though.
Kandied: What brand do you have in the GTP?

ive watched a friend put one on in high school.. i donno the brand.. but it was pretty simple. this heating element goes under the seat cover
then you run the wires under the carpet to the control thingy... and you mount the switch/dial wherever you want it and connect that to the control.. then you give it power and set it to the temp you want it...
it had a bunch of warnings on it about how you could burn your car down, pro install reccomend, ect.... i donno much about it, but i remember it made me nervous.... if i were to get one, i would want one that has some kind of automatic thermal regulator on it... so it cuts off if it gets too hot or if its on too long....

I was recovering the base of both my seats so I found some heating pads that are going in there. Its not as good as having a heated back as well but it'll do for now.

id be alot more intrested in some form of Peltier element system.... liquid or air or whatever....
i donno about you, but most of the time, i would like leather seats to be COOLER... heating in the winter is nice, but leather makes your back sweaty most of the year.... a "AC" seat would be nice.
