Can anyone tell me what these are??(Firebird)

I cant get some of these to light up to see what they are for?

Are some of them just to make it even looking? Or do all of them have a real purpose?

Some are fake and do not light up,.

There should be a Brake light, Check Engine light, and a Fasten Seatbelts light.

Some newer cars came with a Security light, and Inflated Restraint light.

Some manual cars came with a Shift up light.

Carbuerated cars came with a Choke light.

The button on the outside of your turn signal lever is for the cruise control (it is the Set/Decel button ... press it with the cruise slider in the middle (ON position) and it will set your cruise at the speed you are going... I you want to stay in cruise control but slow down some, press and hold that button and you will slow down... release it and the cruise is now set at that point)... The resume button (which is the momentary right position on the 3 position slider) can be pressed to increase your current cruise speed by 1 MPH...

Here is what I could find on my 1991 GTA Instrument Cluster...

Left Outer:
INFL
SEAT BELT

Left Inner:
Shift Up
Low Oil Level

Right Inner:
SES Light
Can't get a positive ID on this one, not sure it is filled

Right Outer:
BRAKE
Security

It would be interesting to find out which Firebird ever used the LOW OIL LEVEL light.

Mine is the parking break, check engine, fasten seatbelt and the choke. So all do light up.

Even the automatics have the shift light it just doesn't function. My TA has it as well as my old Cavalier. I wonder what it would take to make it work as my car was converted to a stick. It would be great if all I had to do was install the bulb or something simple like that.

yeah it worked but it was scary because when I hit the circle botton my car just starts to accelerate rapidly without even having my foot on the gas.So Im gonna kick back on using that option.
