Finding A Wonderbar?!

Hey everybody....

Well some of you might have heard of my problem with my steering gear box problem... It is making my body pannels creak and grind every time I turn my wheel. There was a decent sized crack in there for a while, but I had that welded up.

Unfortunately it is starting to crack again, and the problem persists. I keep reading about these "wonderbars" or steering gearbox supports that fix this problem that I am having. The only question is, where the hell do I find one? I have checked all my local parts stores such as AutoZone and Checkers, ect. ect. And even called Summit Racing with no results.

I was also wondering if subframe connectors will help it out any. It has been doing this ever since I bought the car 2 years ago, and I am looking to eliminate the problem completely and once and for all.

Any help or suggestions on where I might find one of these "wonderbars" would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks!

Hey guys, thanks a lot! They are quite a bit cheaper than I was expecting... Does anybody have any pictures of one installed. It sort of looks like a strut tower brace to me.... or does it mount on the subfame underneath?

I see that you are in Arizona too.
I have a used one that needs to be repainted.
If you want it, either PM me, or email me at:
WarbirdTA@hotmail.com
for a price and/or shipping.

Hope this helps,

George

Hey thanks for the offers guys, but I went ahead and ordered one from Top-Down Solutions. Since I am going to be putting that on, I went out and also picked up some new swaybar bushings from Energy Suspention. I dont know how much of a difference they'll make, but mine are freakin shot, so I guess it couldnt hurt.

I will try to get some pictures when it comes and I get it all installed.

Kind of off topic, but it is that a pathfinder or hardbody? I'm also a nissan fan. Daily driver?

Whats up all? The wonderbar came in the mail today! I am going over to a friends house tomorrow night to put it and my new swaybar bushings on. Hurray for friends who let you use their garage! (Apartment life sucks, lol) I will try to get some pictures of where i was getting stress cracks from the stearing box....

Thanks again everyone!
